Online Classrooms and the Entrepreneur by C.J. "Rahming"

In this day and age, it seems as though online schools are popping up all over the place. Just about every other unsolicited pop-up ad on the internet is offering a chance to receive a degree from the comfort of your own home. As an entrepreneur, there are many ways for you to tap into the market of educating people about your product through the same means as some of the top schools.

I recently had a conversation with a make- up artist looking for additional funding resources; outside of her selling lipstick online. One of the things she talked about was the fact that she had a decent following, however her clients only engage her once every three months. I told her to teach the basics of her skill, which in her mind sounded easier than the thought of how she would get it done.

Here’s the deal; we all want to keep some of our jewels to our self, in order to keep people coming back to our businesses. There are still ways to keep your clientele while sharing important information. I’m sure the young make-up artist clients have a hard time with basic skin care, along with the basic application of the make-up they purchased. They can either learn it from her, or find some random video on the net to show them incorrect make-up applications. Building out a “How -To” course outside of YouTube not only provides the make- up artist extra funding. It prevents her from having to re-explain proper make-up procedures to all of her clients. Her clients may not become as skilled as she is in applying make-up, but they will be able to maintain themselves between purchases.

To all entrepreneurs out there, take notice… You may be able to do more than just sell your services or your product. Think hard about cultivating the relationships with your end-users. Create brand loyalty by offering extra knowledge enhancing opportunities.
